Those days... (For September 11)

This photo was taken during one of our band performances. Well, I just missed singing in front of many people with my band members. The joy that singing brings to me is just priceless. Although before I only get a little time to sleep due to our practices and gigs, I still enjoyed doing it. It's like every time I sing, I feel I'm beautiful. HAHA. And singing in a band also helped me in my allowances. Yeah. I hope I can sing again with them. Hopefully. :)

Farewell Old Friend

For September 10

I can still remember the boy
Who we will just call “Roy”
           We fell apart
        It broke my heart

          It took time to heal
For my heart that loved so real
         Chances weren’t taken
So my tears kept on fallin’

Yet now each time I look back
There’s no more pain in my heart
You’re someone I lost, but still I’m thankful about it
                For I learned… I became stronger

         Farewell old friend
I thank you for the memories
Now there’s already someone who fixed my once broken heart
              Farewell old friend

Good vs. Evil

For September 9
According to the bible, "For the fate of the sons of men and the fate of beasts is the same; as one dies, so dies the other. They all have the same breath, and man has no advantage over the beasts, for all is vanity. All go to one place, all are from the dust, and all turn to dust again" (Ecclesiastes 3:19-20). The concept of good vs. evil has been battling for ages and yet he winner is still too unclear. Yes, good and evil exist in the world we live in. Evil can be in any forms, for example, it is often personified by a crow who has power to influence those who have weak faith and weak hearts. Also sickness, temptations and the like are forms of evils. Good also exists. Thanks to God for not letting the evil win.
Do good people do bad things? For me, yes. Human as they are, they make bad decisions. They are all still men, imperfect men, struggling to do their best in a bad situation.
As said by Abraham Lincoln and I quote, "When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad. That's my religion." After all, this battle runs through every hearts of man. We do have a choice. We do have God. We just have to believe in Him.

They Smile, I Smile!

For September 8

The most beautiful thing in this world is seeing them smiling and knowing that I am the reason behind their smiles. It makes me feel so happy especially when I achieve something and they are so proud of me, it's really incomparable. They are not just with me through good times but also through bad times.  I often talk to them when I have problems but, parents as they are, they know me a lot. They comfort me and they are always there when I needed them. Truly, the smile of Papa and Mama are priceless.

There it goes...

For September 7
Just this week, I felt anger not just to a certain person but also to myself. Well actually, it was anger and fear. It all started when I asked him questions, to be exact, the question was something about a picture of a girl in his phone. Actually, there were two solo pictures there but I know there were other picture of his friends but the two really remained in his phone. I knew the girl, she was his friend. So I asked him but I didn’t get the answer I was looking for. Yeah, I was jealous like who on earth won’t if that will be the case right? Yet he acted so numb. He kept on asking me if why am I cold to him and he said the picture was nothing. I became angry to him because why can’t he feel the way I’m feeling? I came to realize that all boys are really like that, they are all numb and cheaters!!! But I also realized that I am also scared of losing him. So, one night he came to my place and I was hoping that we could talk because even though I’m mad at him, I still want to compromise because his birthday is fast approaching. It turned out the other way around. He was still so insensitive, like I was crying in front of him and he was asking if why I am crying. He didn’t even said sorry. Worst, he left me. He said he should go home. That’s the time where I really cried so hard. My heart broke. I even came to the point of breaking up with him. That night I received three long texts messages from him. He explained his side but I’m still hurt of what he did to me. I am also angry with myself because I was/am stupid. I easily cry and I can’t easily stop myself from crying.
To make it short, I accepted his apology. Scarlet helped him and made him realize his mistakes. It was in our office when we talked about it and surprisingly he cried. I was shocked because he really cried in front of me. He said that it was really nothing, and I have nothing to be afraid of.
Anger is good to let your emotions out and for the other person know what you truly feel. But again, too much of everything will bring no good. If you hold too much anger within yourself, you will lose the persons who loves you and worst, you will lose yourself.

Wrong Email Address by Stephen (In Funny Jokes)

(For September 2)
A couple was going on a vacation but his wife was on a business trip so he went to the destination first and his wife would meet him the next day. When he reached the hotel, he decided to send his wife a quick email. Unfortunately, when typing the address of his wife, he mistyped a letter and his note was directed instead to an elderly preacher’s wife whose husband had passed away only the day before. When the grieving widow checked her email, she took one look at the monitor, let out a piercing scream, and fell to the floor in a dead faint. At the sound, her family rushed into the room and saw this note on the screen:

Dearest Wife,
Just got checked in. Everything prepared for your arrival tomorrow.
P.S. Sure is hot down here.

The child and his mother by Stephen (in Funny Jokes)

(For August 31)

A curious child asked his mother: “Mommy, why are some of your hairs turning grey?”

The mother tried to use this occasion to teach her child: “It is because of you, dear. Every bad action of yours will turn one of my hairs grey!”

The child replied innocently: “Now I know why grandmother has only grey hairs on her head.”
